Reserve your domain name soon!

To ensure that your website can be given the same name as your company, or a similar abbreviation, you need to reserve and register a domain name as soon as possible. We can do this for you, at a very small cost, ideally in advance of your website being produced and published. Usually it will be of the format yourname.co.uk . For example xyzservices.co.uk or bloggs-roofing.co.uk .

Webspace and E-mail

Initially, your domain name is set-up so that it points to a website held with a web hosting provider. This is sometimes referred to as your webspace. We can provide you with this webspace and link it to your domain name.
It can easily be transferred or re-directed to another provider if you wish to host your site elsewhere.

For instance, you could host your site with a provider of free webspace, possibly your e-mail provider, but this would have some restrictions and would involve you in the intricacies of 'uploading' web pages and images to this webspace.

Similarly, for your e-mail, you could use addresses associated with your webspace e.g. sales@bloggs-roofing.co.uk or you may still use your current e-mail address, if you have one, e.g. bloggs@hotmail.com.
